We Are Travellers

Standing in the platform, waiting for my train, slowly sipping my takeaway cappuccino to warm and wake me up. The hot shower just jolts me to a new day, but it's the coffee that boost me or it should.  I watched my fellow commuters filling up the platform.  I am traveling to another state to get away and to visit a friend to cheer her up, she had an unfortunate accident trying to break the fight between her two male dogs, they have savaged both of her hands.  Or maybe it's just the excuse I needed to get away.  I wanted to go home to my homeland but let's not go there.

I settled in a corner by the window and the carriage was filling up fast with commuters, some weary some bleary and some are perky.  Then the warmth of the coffee and the cosiness of the corner made me snoozed a bit.

Finally the announcement blared that the next stop is the Central Station.  I gathered my luggage and my shoulder bag,  as I wearily stumbled onto the platform, retracting the bags handle I tank god for whoever invent the wheeled luggages.
